The Blue Heart
Foundation
I never
let a day pass without remembering to pay homage to the men and women of law
enforcement who serve our community everyday and to thank the teachers of our
precious children.
In honor
of these heroes, I have established The Blue Heart Foundation that
contributes a percentage of all purchases from TBH Designs to funds set up for
children whose parents are killed in the line of duty and to the “National Law
Enforcement Memorial Fund.
I
personally have had a wonderful career in law enforcement for 21 years. But my
immeasurable privilege and honor has been standing as a proud wife, mother,
aunt and co-worker of police officers.
My heart
goes out to the extended families that support this profession.
Our
families are always asked to make sacrifices as they support our career path.
And that love and support are so important. These sacrifices profoundly impact
the family unit and are at times frustrating, confusing and scary.
During my
career I have faced many challenges and experiences which makes my unique
expertise a valuable resource. I am humbled when a family member comes to me
asking for guidance and answers. It is my pleasure to offer them comfort,
encouragement and reassurance during difficult times while forging friendships
that will last forever.
I‘ve
dedicated myself to this commitment. I pray everyday that I won’t have to see
and feel another family’s grief after losing someone in the line of duty.
